This is the second time that I have received the invitation to publish my dissertation with LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing (see the end for the email message). It looks very appealing, especially for recent graduates or young junior faculty who desperately need publications for their career.
I’ve never heard of this name before, though. As a “researcher”, I started to search it online before I stepped forward to accept the invitation. Luckily, this stopped from being scammed.
There have been many other people who have received the same invitation and many of them have been sucked into the trap. There have been full analyses of this scam. You can easily find this out by googling “Lambert Academic Publishing spam”. Here are the two blogs worth a glimpse.
